About us

Tutator started with a simple belief:

technology should make social work easier, not harder.

Tutator

From Latin tutari — "to protect, to watch over, to safeguard."

In 2008, after seeing frontline teams working on social impact projects struggle with paper forms and scattered spreadsheets that didn't match the complexity of their work, we set out to build technology designed for the realities of the social sector.

Today, our team across five countries partners with organizations worldwide to co-create intuitive and sustainable systems that strengthen their daily work. Whether the mission focuses on migration, healthcare, education, protection, or the environment, our mission remains the same:

To help those creating impact do it with better, smarter tools.

What Makes Us Different

We understand the social sector like few others.

From shelters and clinics to justice systems and environmental programs, we build systems that work in complex, low-resource environments.

We design with you, not for you.

Your team's knowledge guides every step. Together we create systems that are intuitive, practical, and sustainable long after launch.

We care about people

Behind every record and every workflow is a person, a worker, a family — someone whose story deserves to be seen.

We build technology for people, not for profit

Our systems are designed around real-world constraints — not ideal scenarios — and adapt to how your teams actually work.

We stay by your side

From launch to daily use, we make sure your team has what it needs to run the system with confidence.

Our Mission

To support mission-driven organizations by building digital systems around how they actually work, reducing administrative burden and helping teams spend more time serving people.

Our Vision

A world where organizations addressing social and environmental challenges have the systems they need to operate effectively, scale their work, and serve people with dignity.
