Yêboa
Description
Association la Voûte Nubienne (AVN) faced increasing challenges in coordinating projects and monitoring field teams across remote areas of West Africa with limited electricity and internet access. As AVN expanded its Nubian Vault initiative training thousands of masons and constructing thousands of homes across Burkina Faso, Mali, Senegal, and Benin it became essential to centralize project information, track construction progress, and manage actors efficiently. Yêboa was developed as a tailor-made platform that consolidates all operational data, enables offline and online data collection via a mobile app, provides robust analytics, and simplifies daily operations. This unified system allows AVN to oversee its projects effectively, strengthen accountability, and make informed decisions that amplify its impact on sustainable housing and local development.
The solution
Community development
Centralized project and partner data reduce administrative workload, enabling field agents to monitor community participation and coordinate activities more efficiently across multiple regions
Rural development
Real-time tracking of climate-resilient housing projects improves quality assurance and accountability across construction sites, making it easier to measure impact and scale sustainable housing initiatives for tens of thousands of beneficiaries in West Africa.
Sustainable development
Unified digital management of training, construction, and partner activities enables AVN to monitor skills development, employment, and economic opportunities for local masons, builders, and organized women, strengthening inclusive growth across multiple countries.
