Description
In partnership with the Bolivia Restorative Justice Consortium (Fundación La Paz para el Desarrollo y la Participación (FUDEP), Capacitación y Derechos Ciudadanos (CDC), Centro Volontari Cooperazione allo Sviluppo (CVCS), Progettomondo Movimiento Laico America Latina (Progettomondo.mlal), Fundación Tutator Bolivia (FTB)), Tutator developed Iris, a web platform that supports adolescents in conflict with the law, their families, and professionals working in the juvenile justice system in Bolivia. The platform helps users understand legal processes, know their rights, and identify the next steps in the Adolescent Penal System through clear and reliable information. Built with direct input from users, Iris brings together legal resources, educational content, and practical guidance in one easy-to-use space. Since its launch, the platform has reached tens of thousands of users, helped families access key legal documents, and supported more than 400 justice professionals with up-to-date information, leading to better-informed decisions and stronger support for adolescents nationwide.
The solution
Law & legal affairs
Centralized access-to-justice resources make it easier for adolescents and families to understand juvenile justice procedures and for justice operators to provide informed legal guidance.
Transparency
Educational web platform improves service delivery by helping adolescents and families navigate the justice system, supporting restorative practices, and enabling continuous monitoring and capacity-building for justice operators.
