SIGAH 2
Description
Following the deployment of SUGAH in 2019, INAMI required a more comprehensive and user-centered system aligned with its updated care models. While the first phase focused on non-custodial measures, the system did not yet include follow-up for adolescents deprived of liberty, nor did it fully reflect INAMI’s evolving operational structure.
With support from ProgettoMondo and UNICEF, SIGAH 2 was developed starting in 2021 as an expanded and improved version of the platform. This phase incorporated custodial measures, strengthened alignment with institutional workflows and significantly enhanced usability to ensure greater adoption and operational efficiency.
The solution
Law & legal affairs
Integration of custodial and non-custodial measures enables full lifecycle monitoring of adolescents in conflict with the law, ensuring continuity of care and rights protection.
Transparency
Improved usability, refined workflows and structured technical support reduce administrative burden, strengthen INAMI’s operational capacity and enhance data-driven decision-making across the juvenile justice system.
